Generating Your Power

Generating Your Power

Power is a feeling that we create inside us. It is usually misunderstood and most people think that we get power when we take it from someone else.  THis is not the case. Every person is lucky enough to have every emotion. I mean every- even the negative ones. That is what makes us human. So if you are not feeling powerful than you need to start creating that feeling for yourself.

So take a few minutes and try to think back to a time when you felt powerful. If you are finding this challenging use the Jack Canfield method and make a list of all the accomplishments you have had in your life. I mean everything from learning to walk to finishing high school. Even as you read this list you will start to feel amazing and you will begin generating the feeling of power. Then ask yourself,” what are some powerful thoughts that I can think.

Things like “ I got this.”

“I can do this”

“I’m strong”

“I’m a powerhouse”

Spend some time each day saying these phrases to yourself  and take notice of the feeling inside you. Make note of everywhere you feel it in your body! Now practise it . We didn’t create a habit of something by doing it once!

Try this On and before you know it whenever you go somewhere you will be “ the strongest energy in the room”.
